EasySlides — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-18
EasySlides is a multi-monitor image slideshow application for Windows, published on the Microsoft Store by Korye Creations.
This policy describes what information the app processes, what it sends off your device, and how to contact us. In short: EasySlides runs entirely on your computer, and we do not collect, transmit, or receive any personal information.
1. Who we are
Korye Creations is a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.
Contact: support@korye-creations.com
For the purposes of UK GDPR, the sole trader behind Korye Creations is the data controller for any information EasySlides might handle on your device.
2. What EasySlides does on your device
When you use EasySlides, the application:
- Reads image files from folders you explicitly choose via the built-in folder picker.
- Stores settings (your chosen folders, slideshow interval, transition style, cache size) in Windows' per-application local storage area (
LocalState), so your preferences persist between runs. - Holds a short-lived cache of recently-decoded images in memory and on disk inside the same local storage area, to make navigation smooth. Bounded by the cache size you set.
- Displays a borderless fullscreen window per monitor during a slideshow.
All of this happens entirely on your local device. No image, no folder path, and no setting is transmitted off your computer by EasySlides.
3. What EasySlides does NOT do
EasySlides does not:
- Collect or transmit analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics of any kind.
- Contact any server belonging to Korye Creations or any third party.
- Access the internet for any reason.
- Read files from folders you have not explicitly selected.
- Access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other device sensor or system resource outside what's needed to render images on a monitor.
- Collect your name, email address, IP address, device identifier, or any other personal data.
4. Optional diagnostic logging
EasySlides includes an opt-in diagnostic logger to help us troubleshoot bugs if you report one.
- Logging is off by default. It is only activated if you create a specific empty file in the app's local storage folder, or by pressing a dedicated key combination we will only ask you to use as part of a support conversation.
- The log file is written only to your own device — it is never transmitted anywhere by the app.
- The log file records technical diagnostic information only: monitor indices (e.g. "monitor 1, 2, 3"), image indices (e.g. "image 42"), timing measurements in milliseconds, error codes, and pixel dimensions. It never records file paths, folder names, image filenames, usernames, hostnames, network addresses, or any other identifying information.
- If you voluntarily send the log file to us for support, you are choosing to share that technical data with us. We will only use it to diagnose the reported issue, keep it for as long as needed to resolve it, and then delete it.
You can disable logging and delete any existing log files at any time by removing the activation file or using the same key combination again.
5. What the Microsoft Store handles separately
When you buy or install EasySlides from the Microsoft Store, the following is handled by Microsoft, not by EasySlides or Korye Creations:
- Your Microsoft account identity and purchase details.
- Payment processing.
- The installation, update, and licensing mechanism.
- App crash reports sent via the Microsoft Store / Windows error reporting system (if enabled in your Windows settings).
- Aggregate, anonymised app usage statistics shown to us in the Microsoft Partner Center dashboard (for example, "number of installs this month"). We cannot identify individual users from this.
Microsoft's handling of that data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement, which you agreed to when setting up your Microsoft account. We do not receive your identity or contact information from Microsoft.
6. Children
EasySlides is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information of any kind, it poses no child-specific privacy concern. Parents using the app on shared computers should be aware that the app will display any images from any folder the user selects.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Ask us whether we hold any personal data about you (we almost certainly do not — the only situation in which we would is if you have voluntarily emailed us for support).
- Ask us to correct or delete any such data.
- Withdraw consent for the use of any data you previously shared for support purposes.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@korye-creations.com.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how EasySlides handles data, the "Last updated" date at the top will change, and the update will be described in the app's changelog. We will not make retroactive changes to how previously-processed data is treated.

This policy is written in plain English. It reflects the app's actual behaviour — we are not promising anything EasySlides doesn't already do by design.
