EasySlides is a fast, native Windows app that plays slideshows across any number of connected displays, simultaneously or independently. Built in C++ with hardware-accelerated rendering — no Electron, no wrapper around a browser, no compromises on smoothness.

Features

Right-click to start

Right-click any folder in File Explorer and pick "Play with EasySlides". Nothing else is faster.

Per-monitor control

Pick a different folder and interval for each monitor, or play the same folder across all of them in sync.

Smooth transitions

Fade, slide, rotate, and checkerboard — rendered on the GPU via Direct2D, so 4K displays stay responsive.

Bounded memory

A configurable MB-budgeted image cache. Never blows out VRAM or system RAM, regardless of slideshow length.

No internet access

EasySlides never contacts any server. No telemetry, no analytics, no hidden traffic. It can't — that capability isn't even requested.

All image formats

JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF — everything Windows' built-in imaging component supports.

Who it's for

Photographers wanting to present a shoot across multiple screens. Digital signage in small spaces. Anyone with a second (or third, or fourth) monitor that would look better with their own photos on it than a stock wallpaper. Home setups where the always-on screens should be doing something pleasant.

System requirements

Pricing and availability

One-off purchase. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no "EasySlides Pro" tier — what you buy is the whole app, forever.

Launch channel is the Microsoft Store (with a free trial so you can check it works on your setup before committing). Additional channels such as itch.io and Ko-fi may follow once the Store release is stable — if you'd prefer to buy direct from the creator rather than through Microsoft, watch this space.
